What Makes A&E?
Mission
To provide an affordable alternative for working women everywhere to purchase quality designer fashions, shoes and accessories for their work and weekend needs. To encourage new consignors to bring their clothes to market and enjoy the surprise of getting cash or an in-store credit to shop with.
To offer a place where Artists and Entrepreneurs can put their goods on display and available to a larger audience of potential buyers. To create an opportunity for the public to consign quality furniture and useful items as well as their own creations such as pottery, paintings, and crafts.
We are committed to exceptional customer service. By providing opportunities and creating an exciting, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience.
Vision
We believe that the heart of any community is their market place. Our vision is to create a dynamic place to shop, socialize and promote unity in our community.
History
Originating as a concept over 25 years ago to promote local shopping and entrepreneurship, A & E Community Market and Consignment Centre began in Dawson Creek, moved to Prince George, then Creston and finally settled in Vernon with the purchase of a women’s consignment shop in the summer of 2016.
Value
We love community. We value our relationships with our customers, consignors and business partners. We want to work with everyone to ensure they have a great experience when shopping at or consigning with A & E.
